Permanent Eclipse
Practice Your Punk

When your album cover is a photocopy play on The Clash's London Calling, you've got nowhere to go but up. Very appropriately titled, the album is more like listening to a friend's band practice than an actual release, but the DIY production and wide array of styles makes Practice Your Punk an interesting listen. Sure, songs like "1234 *Punk*" and "Hear Your Voice" are so basic your baby brother probably does it better with pots and pans, but the psychedelic proto-prog of "Eye Of The Storm" and "Happy"'s down-home rockabilly shows a vastly different side of the band and lets listeners know they have room -- and the talent -- to develop.
