Wha? A ’60s-themed coffeeshop/bar? Whoa, maaan…okay, so I haven’t been here, either, just seen the ads; I don’t even know how often they have shows, but they’ve got a couple listed at the moment…
Okay, so I think this place is mostly a restaurant-type deal, but I know some local folks play here every once in a while, particularly country-ish/folk-ish people…
This is a cool little place, although I have to say I have yet to make the drive just for a show; usually, when I head up to the Last Concert, it’s ’cause I’m hungry…
This record label’s run by Nick Cooper (formerly of Sprawl, now of the Free Radicals), and most of the stuff they seem to have available — on CD-R if it’s out-of-print, which is nice — is from the old Sprawl days…
Another one I’ve never been to, but they seem to’ve recently ramped up the number of bands playing there pretty seriously, and some of ‘em (Edna’s Goldfish, Secret Sunday, etc.) ain’t bad…
