On to the next one… Saturday now, December 17th, and while yours truly is currently recovering from a very, very late-night party last night and gearing up for the next, there’s a crap-ton of stuff going on today that is flat-out awesome…
Hey, folks — sorry for skipping out on the past couple of days’ shows; had to do the family thing for Thanksgiving, so y’know. For some reason, 2- and 7-year-olds don’t get “Daddy has to post about some shows” as an excuse for why you can’t play Matchbox cars or Scattergories…
Yep, yep, yep. We’re now onto Sat., November 12th, and obviously, there’s still plenty to do. To be completely honest, though, there’s one thing that pretty well overrides all the rest, at least for me…
Yeah, I’m attempting to not let the rest of the weekend get the jump on me, this time; let’s see how it goes, eh? Cross yr fingers, y’all… The big item on the list, at least in the physical sense, is this year’s edition of the Vans Warped Tour…
Aaaaand here’s the biggie of the weekend — Saturday, January 22nd, is looking like an awesomely busy, option-filled day, I have to say. Not sure if I’ll be able to make it out to any of this stuff, but hey, you definitely shouldn’t follow my example…
Weekend coming down, and there’s plenty to do & hear, despite the freezing-ass cold. (Seriously, y’all, we’re Texans. We’re adapted to survive the blistering, soul-melting heat of the Houston summer, not bitterly cold winds…)
I’ll be down at the beach tomorrow (Surfside in the house…) and celebrating Midget #2’s 1st-ever birthday the next day, so I wanted to point up the cool stuff going on the rest of this weekend at least relatively early — hell, extremely early, for me…
