Alright, folks — still recovering somewhat from last weekend (a combination of sogginess, tinnitus, and heatstroke), but there’s some truly, truly excellent stuff going on today/tonight (Saturday, June 10th), so I didn’t want to let ’em slip away…
Day Two of the weekend, Saturday, August 4th, and there’s a ton going on, naturally. I’ve gotta keep it somewhat brief tonight, so let’s just get into it, eh?…
Oof. Heading into a freaking great weekend, and one that’s managed to creep up on me somewhat, I have to admit; I’ve been so wrapped up in other things this week (read: work + hanging w/family from London) that some of the biggest, most awesome things…
Okay, yeah, so this is late, late, late; apologies for that, but y’know, the family thing & all that… Even worse, I flat-out skipped yesterday — what can I say? It was Christmas Eve, and as far as I was/am aware, there was only one single measly thing…
And so, the holiday madness begins. There’s not quite as much going on this weekend as, say, New Year’s (which will be insane), but there’re still some very cool stuff to check out. Here goes…

Back again, once is the incredible…yes, it’s true — The Suspects are back & rejuvenated. Hep, hep, hep… The band broke up for several years there, after nearly a decade of full-on old-school ska, and man, was I bummed. The band had hit some rocky points, due to some personnel shakeups and a general lack of time…
Punkpunkpunkpunk. These guys are reportedly pretty cool (only seen them live once, myself), and they’ve got a brand-new CD out, Ever Revolving Never Evolving, on Nitro Records, alongside their 2 “classic” previous full-lengths, Acme — 143 and Divided We Stand…
