I think he’s back in the country now, but I’m not entirely sure; Jon Thompson, who runs the label, was living over in London for a while there, so… Anyway, wherever he’s dwelling right at the moment, the guy puts out some amazingly cool, laid-back, atmospheric stuff, swinging between more overtly dreampop and ambient-ish offerings.

I think the only local Houston artist on the label is Thompson himself, with his Oppressed by the Line project, but the other folks he’s worked with, like Brits Matt Bartram or Kontakte, are pretty damn cool themselves.
