General Info: I like this place, but honestly, it’s less because of the environment, like with The Meridian, and more because of the people they book. They’ve got some kind of tie to the bigger booking agencies in town, I think, but whatever the heck it is, it works — if there’s a “hot” new band or musician coming to town, odds are that they’re coming here, whether you’re talking about Corinne Bailey Rae or The Living End. It’s a little spartan on the inside, though, just a big airplane hangar-looking room with a front wall/merch booth, a bar on either side, and a smaller side stage (that I’ve never been to) off the main room. The sound’s good, either way, and hey, if they keep bringing in good bands…
