Get Out Tonight

Yeah, I know it’s a little bit late-notice, and we don’t generally like to shill for specific shows & all that, but what the hey… If you’re in the H-town area tonight, Monday, July 24th, swing by The Proletariat for the first-ever (that I know of, anyway) Houston Calling Happy Hour, put on by Space City Rock contributor and all-’round good guy David. Four good-good-good local bands/people will be playing — The Dimes, Sitka Sound, Miranda Sound, & Tody Castillo — and the whole shebang runs from 6PM or so to 10PM, so it’s perfect for old-timers like me who get cranky when they’re sitting in dingy bars ’til 1 in the AM.
